Girls’ Confirmation Retreats Fall 2022

- Hunting Ridge Retreat Center, 1011 Hunting Ridge Rd, Winchester, VA 22603
- Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Michigan Ave NE, Washington, DC 20017
Dates
- Girls’ Overnight retreat: Hunting Ridge Retreat Center on Saturday, October 8 @7:30am – Sunday, October 9 @2:30pm
- Boys’ Overnight retreat: Hunting Ridge Retreat Center on Saturday, October 15 @7:30am – Sunday, October 16 @2:30pm
- Co-ed Outing: Sunday, October 2, 2022. Parent must transport and accompany child during the outing. Parents and child meet at 11:30am-4:00pm.
Cost
- Overnight Retreats: $150.00. Include meals, lodging and transportation.
- Co Ed Outing: No cost. Parents must transport and accompany child. Bring your own sack lunch. Note: Basilica Cafeteria is not currently selling food.
If cost is an issue, Financial Assistance available. Via email, kindly request financial by contacting youthministry@stleofairfax.com

- Retiro Nocturno para Niñas: en Hunting Ridge Retreat Center desde el Sábado, 8 de Octubre a las 7:30am hasta el Domingo, 9 de Octubre a las 2:30pm
- Retiro Nocturno para Niños: en Hunting Ridge Retreat Center desde el Sábado, 15 de Octubre a las 7:30am hasta el Domingo, 16 de Octubre a las 2:30pm
- Alternativa: Domingo, 2 de Octubre, 2022. El padre debe acompañar y transportar al estudiante durante la visita a la Basilica. Los padres y estudiantes se reúnen de 11:30am-4:00pm.
Costo
- Retiros Nocturnos: $150.00. Incluye la comida, alojamiento y transportación.
- Alternativa: Sin costo. Los padres deben acompañar y transportar al estudiante.Traer tu propio almuerzo. Nota: La Cafeteria de la Basilica no está actualmente vendiendo comida.

Packing List for OVERNIGHT Confirmation Retreats
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Towel
- Toiletries
- Clothes (warm, comfortable, modest. Leggings are not pants. See Infographic)
- Shoes (we will be outside and they could possibly get dirt on them)
- Bible, Rosary
- Flashlight
- A snack to share (bag of chips, pretzels, cookies, etc.) NO NUTS OR SESAME SEEDS
DO NOT BRING: Cell phone, iPod, airpods, mp3 player, or any video game system. We will collect ALL cell phones and electronic devices at the beginning of the trip (this is in accordance with OPCYP policy) and hold them until we return on Sunday. Teens can use the adults’ phones to call home if necessary. It is easier if the teens just leave them at home. Please help us enforce this policy. Thank you!
