High School Youth Ministry

Sunday Night Live (Streamed)!

With COVID-19 and the canceling of parish events, we are moving SNL and Lead Team online via Zoom.  Details will be in a Flocknote and on Instagram (@stleosyouth)!  *Because our instagram is public you can view it without an account*

Our main night to gather is on Sunday evenings from 6:00 – 8:15pm in the Parish Hall Guadalupe room. We come together after the 5pm Sunday Mass for an evening of faith, food, fellowship and fun. After a home cooked meal, provided by our St. Leo the Great Executive Chefs (Very talented volunteer families), we have an activity as well as a talk and small groups. *Moved online until further notice*

This year’s theme is “Home.” We will be exploring Roman culture and St. Paul’s letter to the Romans which creates a “Domvs Romana” (Roman Home) emphasis on our theme.

So what does the St. Leo the Great Youth Ministry have to offer you at the end of your weekend? The opportunity to encounter Jesus face-to-face and fall in love with Him; the opportunity to build and deepen faith-based relationships with the friends you see in school and church every week; and to grow in your knowledge and understanding of Jesus through His Church. Don’t forget to Register in order to participate and receive all of our announcements.

Looking for some more challenging? We call it LEAD TEAM.

Thursday Takeovers

Canceled until further notice – but you can also tune into our instagram (@stleosyouth)!

Our main weekly gathering is on Thursday afternoons from 3:00 – 5:00pm in the Parish Hall Guadalupe room. We come together after school for an afternoon of faith, food, fellowship and fun. After a snack, we offer a host of activities and service projects to assist those in our parish and even the local community.

Have some time after school? Come join us to build a great community of support and Catholic friends.

On Fire

Once a month, we gather after a Saturday evenings Mass from 6:00 – 8:00pm in the school gym for an evening of faith, food, fellowship and fun. After dinner, we have an activity and then a service project or a talk and small groups. Twice a year we also have a Holy Hour in order to come face-to-face with Jesus – it doesn’t get much better than that? Don’t believe us? Come & See!

So what does the St. Leo the Great Youth Ministry have to offer you one Saturday a month? The opportunity to encounter Jesus face-to-face and fall in love with Him; the opportunity to build deepen faith-based relationships with the friends you see in school and church every week; and to grow in your knowledge and understanding of Jesus through His Church.
